How to crack ISTQB Foundation in first attempt.

If you are thinking to write the examinations in the domain of software testing or quality assurance then writing ISTQB is good choice and you are on correct place.I hope you are already aware of the exam pattern and different levels of it.However we will have a quick look on ISTQB examination pattern.
In this blog I am going to write everything about ISTQB Foundation exam which I have given and cracked in very first attempt.I hope my experience will be helpful to you.

As you can see there are 6 chapters.Please make sure that if you want to appear for further level of examinations in ISTQB you have to clear foundation first which is prerequisite.

Tips and tricks for the exmination

Its better to divide this section into three parts in first I will cover general approach to study in second part I will cover the preparation just day before exam and in last what to do after exam.

Approach to study

I will suggest to make plan at least one month before so that there will be enough time to prepare.There will be 40 questions with NO NEGATIVE MARKING   so try to attempt all the questions even after you are not sure about it.Who knows if you are lucky enough !!

Just start preparing three to four weeks before and make your own short notes in the form of hard copy or word file which are going to be life savior in last moments.
Do not go for entire testing which can be time consuming.Just clear your concepts which are provided in syllabus and for that go for online tutorials.You can find hundred of website which provide good material to study and practice sets as well. Its up to you but i would suggest NOT TO COMPLETELY DEPEND ON DUMPS. 
Even I tried but not a single questions was there from Dumps, so do not depend on dumps just prepare yourself enough to get confidence and believe in yourself.Read some good books like Fundamentals of Software Testing by Dorothy Graham and also you can visit official website  and solve sample papers from ISTQB Website.Make full utilization of your time.

Just Before Exam

you can go through study material prepared by you whether its word documents or hand written notes.As I said earlier just note down the key points from each topics and go through them at last moments.Do not be nervous, do not be worry just believe in yourself and your preparation.

After Exam

My personal suggestion is not to open book and cross check your answers. Just keep relax and wait for results.If it was offline means pen and paper then results will be declared in 1-2 weeks and if it was online then result will be declared at the same moment.
If you got cleared your exam which you will, then you will get your certification hard copy via courier and you name will get displayed on the website in few days. Yeah !! now you are recognized one and certified.

Questions will be easy you can easily score more then 65%, just more focus on K1 and K2 level of questions.If you find any question with more then 4-5 line, you can skip that and attempt that later after completing all the questions and save your time there.All options will be almost same but you have to choose the best one among them because a single word may be helpful to differentiate among them so read carefully. Be calm have faith in yourself and crack the certification !!
